This is the 310 Super Wide model made from 15oz Pique Brown Denim. Pique (deer) is a summer animal, and has long been known as a symbol of summer in Japanese poetry. Its charming yet noble appearance has led to its worship as a divine messenger in Japan. This brown denim, inspired by the deer, is vat dyed and doesn't discolor from weathering, but rather fades to a very similar natural color. While not as dramatic as indigo denim fading, it does develop unique creases and wear patterns over time. The yarn is 100% Texas cotton with a wonderful slubby texture. The 15oz denim is also woven in a way to emphasize its neppy texture. The silhouette and specifications are based on the S310XXII.
