A Hawaiian shirt depicting the Osaka Summer Siege, a battle that took place at Osaka Castle in 1615. This was the decisive battle between the Toyotomi family, who had Osaka Castle as their home base, and the Tokugawa shoguns of Edo (now Tokyo). The result was a victory for the Tokugawa family and heralded the start the Edo period which lasted for 300 years. The graphics for this model are based on a folding screen painting depicting the fierceness of battle and the tragedy of that war.
